My Experience
SWAIM ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS, INTERN
June 2015 - September 2018
I shadowed one of the principal architects the first summer to discover what the field of architecture looked like in the professional sense before attending Cal Poly. This led to a full time internship for the next two summers following my first and second years in schools. During those two summers I got experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and Lumion doing drawings for all stages of projects. These projects included a hotel in downtown Arizona where I helped with the final stages of documentation and punch list walkthroughs, a 120,000 sq. ft. wellness center for the Pasqua Yaqui Tribe throughout the Design Development and Construction Documents process, and renovation designs of a post office in old Vail, Arizona.

SIGNUM ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN INTERN
June 2019 - August 2019
With the culture of a small firm, I had the opportunity to really participate in the design process of multiple families homes. I learned the architecture of people and how understanding the needs of someone else can make you a better designer.
