architecture student

I am from Tucson, AZ and grew up with a  passion for math, science, art and public service, so architecture seemed to be the perfect way to combine all those passions. I am now attending Cal Poly SLO working towards my Bachelor of Architecture. I have begun working towards receiving my license in architecture through experience interning at a firm in my hometown. I see architecture as a field of public service and hope to create building that are both environmentally conscious and positively impact those they were built to serve. I see the future of architecture as a study of people and not just impressive, grand designs and I want to be part of that movement.
